MADAM LE BRUN CAMEO BROOCH
The image of Madam Le Brun was a favorite depicted on many RS Prussia porcelain items. She was a prominent French painter in the late 18th century
who achieved suc
cess in France and Europe
and was aided by the patronage of Marie Antoinette.
This lovely piece is in very good condition.  The right hand side of the original clasp mechanism has been repaired and works perfectly.  There are three almost imperceptible very short lines on brooch on right hand side.  (I have tried to show them in the photos, but they are so minute they don't even show there, but I do want to make mention of them.)  Any other marks are from camera glare.
Size is: 2” x 1 5/8”
