specifically designed for your Porsche 996 or 997 Models 911
.  The
BadgeBar
kit contains the following

The
BadgeBar
ad images reflect the
BadgeBar
photograph installation application to the rear bumper license plate section of the 911, with three examples of car club badges, as well as the clearances levels once the
BadgeBar
is installed.  Most car badges come with shallow fastening hardware (see photographs in ad);
extended length screws or nuts should not be used to fasten car badges to
BadgeBar
.
Car club badges are not included in this kit.
The two oval slit
blue cloth pads
in items
(5/6)
are applied over your two badges when your vehicle is being maintenance serviced to prevent badge hardware from touching the 911 bumper.
Why a BadgeBar?
Since the late 1980's, the 911 is made mostly of plastics and/or fiberglass, and in the most recent years, the 911 no longer has a grill on the rear deck lid, where in early models 911's and/or 912's, Porsche owners would adorn their vehicles with car club, rally or event badges or plaques.  The
BadgeBar
allows owners of a 996/997 models 911 an opportunity to display at least two desired car club badges, in a clean safe location.  Again, inasmuch as 911 service maintenance is performed from the rear deck lid, the
BadgeBar
comes with easy applied pads to avoid one leaning on the badges to possibly scratch your vehicle.  The pads prevent such adverse actions.  Some
BadgeBar
owners have elected to use powder coating colors over the polished stainless steel to match the colors of their 911, which is obtainable by the new users.
The
BadgeBar
measures overall 21-3/4" inches left to right.
The inside location where the diagram reads,
"Glenngary Werks"
measures 13" inches.
The two L shaped section that lead outward measure 4" inches.
The left and right sections where your badges attach measure 4-1/2" inches each side.
