  • Condition: USED: With the exception of the underneath glass catch cup & newly fabricated CORK gasket, this coffee grinder is all original, and it has original "enamel green paint" & hardware and has been professionally cleaned "without" hardly losing any of the original paint. It has been clear coated, exterior with Shellac - a nontoxic - non yellowing - hypoallergenic surface. It will be easy to maintain, and wipe clean after use, where the paint will be protected.

    Description

    Offered is an Antique ~ Collectible ~ Arcade Crystal No. 4 Wall Mount Coffee Grinder.  "Original Green Enamel Paint."  This grinder has a NEW replacement cork hopper gasket over the tin coated metal thread-on hopper mounted end  &  a replacement glass catch cup.  Original catch cups are valued at 0-160 each and can be found from time to time in that range for sale on eBay.  This grinder is complete; working; cleaned; seasoned; coated & Ready for use or to display in a collection.  The glass Crystal No 4 hopper is crack free and has very good edges with thread on lid atop marked ARCADE.  It has been professionally cleaned and I have restored many of these grinders.  To remove the caked on dirt and grime "without" losing "original paint" is a tricky process!  There are labor hours attached to my asking price for a reason because every square millimeter has been cleaned by hand.  It is unlike any other grinder for sale on eBay.  It does not come with mounting screws to mount to a wall or cabinet.  It is offered "as is" as shown in photos, so please ask questions that really matter to you before committing to a "BUY IT NOW AUCTION".  No returns, no warranties of any kind because it is or is near 100 years old.  Just keep in mind one simple fact; they have survived for a "reason" - they are well made.  The No. 4 is more valuable than the No. 3's due to the fact they are more scarce to find.  Everything works & operates as it should; and the internal cast iron pieces have been seasoned in my oven utilizing the "Griswold Society" method for seasoning.  Put your beans in & Use out of the box.  There are a few tricks to operation, and if attempting to use in your kitchen, you can always message me for help.  They do look awesome and add a special ambiance to any kitchen and become a conversation piece.  The grinder ships semi-dismantled and may require some reassembly.  All you need is a flat head screw driver and patience.  Ships well packed for transport and includes signature confirmation & insurance with label.  Please check out my other restored "original" coffee grinders for sale on eBay.  The red Landers F.&C. is listed separately and will not ship here.  Thanks for Looking!
