Description
Offered is a box of left over parts from a "kit bashing" project of atleast three different brands of Ferrari F40 1:24 scale kits.
Please examine the photos carefully to determine if you want to
buy this lot of miscellaneous parts. There are not enough parts
included to build even one complete model. However, the parts
may be useful in another kit bashing project by an experienced
modeler. Or perhaps for use in building an RC slot car, or for
adding detailing to a diecast F40, or to complete a F40 kit that
has missing or damaged parts, etc.
The parts come in the Tamiya box as shown in the photo. There
are two sets of instructions; an original for the Testors-Italeri kit,
and a good xerox copy for the Tamiya kit.
There are three decal sheets, for Fujimi, Testors-Italeri, and Tamiya.
There are three black plastic trees, two are identical, and the third
from a different kit. These are mostly body, chassis and interior parts.
There is a single red parts tree with two complete Ferrari F40 bodies
that are still in factory sealed bags. The front part of the body and the
rear deck is included in each. There are also some loose red parts
and one seat has been painted day glow orange and detailed.
There are two identical clear plastic parts trees still in factory sealed
bags, that include the windshield, rear window, etc. And there are some
loose clear parts also included.
There is a single silver parts tree and some miscellaneous loose parts.
The shiny parts are photo-etch metal. The large black part is the screen
that mounts at the rear of the car above the tail pipes.
There are two chrome parts trees complete with rubber tires. Four of the
wheels and tires are noticeably wider than the others. There are also two
sets of tiny metal studs or axle parts apparently to mount the wheels.
Given the circumstance of this offering the lot is sold in AS-IS condition
with no return for refund accepted. The lot is priced as low as possible
just to cover the expensive shipping cost and seller fees. There really is
no profit to be made by the seller; just trying to share with another modeler.
